历史沿革[edit]
村委会所在地旁有虎爪自然村，早年称虎爪大队；1962年麻溪公社成立，社址就设在虎爪，使它成了麻溪一带的中心。1999年撤区建村，成立虎爪村民委员会。[2]
地名由来[edit]
村委驻地以南的自然村，地形像虎，黄姓先人最早在此建祠居住，村小组遂叫“虎爪”，村名取自这个自然村。[3]
