荃湾村是广东省惠州市澳头街道下辖的行政村，滨海，村名由“浅湾”改写而来。[1][2]

名称与沿革[edit]

村子靠海，海面在此形成一个水较浅的湾，原称浅湾，后来把“浅”字改成“荃”。[3]

人民公社时期是荃湾大队，之后成管理区，1999年设村委会。[2]

2017年10月，荃湾村获广东省爱国卫生运动委员会授予的「第一批广东省卫生村」称号；2019年9月，列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单。[1]
