辣头村是九市镇下辖的行政村，隶属广东省肇庆市德庆县。村委会距镇政府驻地约4公里，临321国道，距县城28公里。[1]

据博雅地名网，“辣头”为壮语地名：“辣”指斜坡，“头”指草木灰，意为坡上常烧草木、以灰作肥。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

行政建置依次为：设辣头乡（1949年），建强社、建庆社（1956年），分设辣头大队和庙咀大队（1961年），乡人民政府（1983年），村委会（1986年11月），管理区办事处（1989年4月），辣头村民委员会（1998年11月）。[1]

荣誉[edit]

  • 2026年3月，被认定为「广东省第三批“百千万工程”典型村镇」。[1]
  • 2019年9月，名列省里2018年度「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位。[1]
