村名取自村委会驻地：1998年经县政府批准设立，因设在六冲村而得名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
行政建置依次为：六冲大队（1961年），乡人民政府（1983年9月），其后改为村委会、管理区办事处，六冲村民委员会（1998年）。[1]
荣誉[edit]
- 2019年9月，名列省里2018年度「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位。[1]
