村名取自村委会驻地：1998年经县政府批准设立，因设在扶号村而得名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
行政建置依次为：扶号大队（1961年4月），扶号乡人民政府（1983年9月），扶号村委会（1986年11月），扶号管理区办事处（1989年4月），扶号村民委员会（1998年11月）。[1]
荣誉[edit]
- 2021年9月，省农业农村厅将扶号村（肉桂）列入第二批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村。[1]
