博雅地名网载，村内有814户农户、2647人（该页未注明年份），划为14个村小组。[1] 地貌为丘陵低山，该页称这里气温年均22.1℃、雨量年均1239.1毫米；耕地1652亩，另有山地9876亩；农户收入主要来自柑橘、水稻和蔬菜。[1]
地名由来[edit]
村名取自九市圩，该圩建于清顺治十五年（1658年），据传因乡人李九功最先在此开店而成市，初称九功圩；康熙十七年（1678年）圩旁青山改名九官山，圩随之称九官圩；1951年定名九市圩。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
行政建置依次为：九市一社（1958年），九市大队（1961年），乡人民政府（1983年9月），其后改称村委会，九市管理区（1989年），九市村民委员会（1998年11月）。[1]
荣誉[edit]
- 2019年9月，名列省里2018年度「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位。[1]
