历史沿革[edit]
农业合作化时这里办成一个农业社，取所属的马尖村和欧垌村各一字，合称马欧。建制依次为乡民会、乡政府、初级社、高级社、生产大队，1987年起称村民委员会。[1]
经济[edit]
村里依地形种植果树，收入主要来自水稻、沙糖桔、油栗和养殖。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2017年10月，获省爱国卫生运动委员会授予「第一批广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
