榄迳村是长岗镇西部的行政村，与杏花镇交界，面积约11.35平方千米，下设8个村民小组，总人口1240人（博雅地名网，未注明年份）。距县城23公里，距镇政府6公里；仅有一条公路相通，是全镇最偏远的村委会。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村庄多在山坡上，过去榄树很多，盛产乌榄和香榄，因而得名。建制依次为乡民会、乡政府、初级社、高级社、生产大队，1987年起称村民委员会。[1]
经济[edit]
森林资源较多，收入来自林木、水稻、沙糖桔和养殖。[1]
