前庄村是长岗镇南部的行政村，邻前程村和福石村，有321国道经过，下设11个村民小组，总人口2341人（博雅地名网，未注明年份）。距县城21公里，距镇政府4公里。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
前进、前展、前庄三个农业社在1958年并为一乡，用前庄作名，含「前进中的村庄」之意。1983年设乡政府，1987年起称村委会。[1]

村民以水稻、果树和养殖为生，该页称村内已建成省级卫生村两条。[1]
