都苗村是长岗镇南部的行政村，321国道穿境而过，南近西江，面积约8.86平方千米，下设9个村民小组，总人口1505人（博雅地名网，未注明年份）。距县城18公里，距镇政府1公里。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村名由所辖的都乐圩村取「都」字、猫儿岭取「猫」字的右半部合成。建制依次为乡民会、乡政府、初级社、高级社、生产大队，1987年起称村民委员会。[1]
经济[edit]
华润水泥项目和深水码头落在村内；[1][2]村民另种水稻、沙糖桔并养殖。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，入选「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」。[1]
