旺村是长岗镇中北部的行政村，与谷圩村、联合村相邻，321国道从境内通过，面积约10.31平方千米，下设10个村民小组，总人口1900人（博雅地名网，未注明年份）。距县城9公里，距镇政府8公里。博雅地名网写作旺村村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1958年公社化时叫大旺大队，1980年地名普查，因与封川镇大旺大队同名，改称旺村大队。1983年设旺村乡，1987年起称村民委员会。[1]
经济[edit]
村内设有旺村车站，威利邦木业有限公司在此落户；村民多种水稻、果树并养殖。[1]长岗镇的工业项目中，广东威华高密度纤维板厂也布局在旺村。[2]
