光升村是长岗镇中部的行政村，邻旺村、联合村，有321国道经过，面积约10.31平方千米，下设4个村民小组，总人口899人（博雅地名网，未注明年份）。距县城12公里，距镇政府5公里。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1956年办农业合作社时取名光升，寓意如初升的太阳。1958年公社化时设光升大队，1983年设乡政府，1987年起称村民委员会。[1]

村民以水稻、果树和养殖为生。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2022年1月，省乡村振兴局把光升村定为「2021年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位；2026年1月，获评「广东省第二批百千万工程典型村」。[1]
