深底村是莲都镇东部的行政村，与怀集县相邻，距镇政府12公里，分设29个村民小组，居民2559人，辖区10平方公里。[1]

地名与沿革[edit]

村庄坐落在四面环山之中，故名深底。[1]1950年设乡民会，1953年改乡人民政府，1955年为低级社，1957年为高级社，1958年为生产大队，1987年改称村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]

经济[edit]

村境属石灰岩地区，石灰石含钙量高，可作水泥和石灰的原料。[1]莲都山羊主要产在本村，全村年养山羊12000头。[1]农田少、旱地多，以杂粮为主，玉米产量在封开县各村中居于前列。[1]
