冷水村是莲都镇最西部的行政村，与都平镇相邻，距镇政府12公里，分设12个村民小组，居民1197人，辖区33平方公里。[1]
地名与沿革[edit]
1987年经封府〔1987〕16号文批准成立村民委员会；农业合作社时期曾设冷水农业社，村名由此而来。[1]
地理与经济[edit]
贺江流经村境。村属山区丘陵，山林面积大，近年桉树种植发展快，已种13000亩；耕作以水稻为主，果树有柑橘、橄榄等。[1]2019年9月，该村名列2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
