河口村是莲都镇的行政村，距镇政府8公里，分设34个村民小组，居民3036人，辖区11平方公里。[1]
地名与沿革[edit]
罗梁、榕树两个农业合作社于1958年合并，驻地设在河口村，村名即来于此。[1]1950年设乡民会，1953年改乡人民政府，1955年为低级社，1957年为高级社，1958年为生产大队，1987年改称村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]
经济与荣誉[edit]
村民以种养业为主，种稻谷，兼种玉米、木薯；近年在县农业局指导下大量种植封开油栗，成为村里最有特色的农副产品。[1]2019年9月，该村名列2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
