芬守村是莲都镇西部的行政村，距镇政府8公里，分设17个村民小组，居民1081人，辖区13平方公里。[1]
地名与沿革[edit]
1987年依省政府有关乡镇设置村（居）委会的通知，由封府〔1987〕16号文批准设立；村委会设在分守塘村，故名。[1]
经济与荣誉[edit]
一条河流两岸和低洼地全种了竹子，竹资源丰富，品种多，故称镇内的竹乡。[1]耕地在镇内居中，主要种水稻，兼种玉米、花生。[1]2019年9月名列2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单；2022年8月又被确定为2022年该项创建单位。[1]
