白沙塘村在封开县渔涝镇，沿省道封怀公路，12个村民小组，1400余人，面积约6平方千米，离县城50余千米，离渔涝集镇2千米[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

该村1982年以前是生产大队，随后1983年成立乡政府，1987年定为村民委员会[2]。村委会驻地叫白沙塘，村名由此而来[3]。

经济[edit]

村域合计约1.24万亩，耕地仅594亩，山地也少，因此村民多种黄烟、甘蔗、蔬菜，外出务工也是收入来源之一[1]。

荣誉[edit]

2023年4月公布的「2022年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位中有该村[1]。
