历史沿革[edit]
这里原是村委会：1982年称生产大队，1983年成立乡政府，1987年改设村委会，到2002年3月随镇政府驻地的性质改为居委会[2]。
名称由来[edit]
周边几条小河与贺江相通，春夏涨水时鱼类逆流而上，被人捕捞，称作「渔捞」，「捞」「涝」通用，遂成渔涝[3]。
经济[edit]
社区位于圩镇，居民凭借区位发展个体经营和水果等经济作物，麒麟李是当地的品牌，社区还以黎楚唐、区柱海、黎国茵等农户作为致富的榜样[1]。
名胜古迹[edit]
广信桥遗址横跨渔涝河，在上扶、渔涝两村之间，过去是封开南北往来的通道，可供研究清代桥梁；「三战渔涝」的战斗之一就打在这座桥上[1]。
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，社区进入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单[1]。
