石便村隶属肇庆市封开县渔涝镇，下设24个村民小组，人口1400余，面积约9平方千米；到县城55千米，到渔涝集镇5千米，仅一条过境公路经过，区位条件不算优越[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
1950年设乡，此后经1955年初级社、1957年高级社，于1958年成为生产大队，1987年起为村民委员会[2]。村委会得名于辖区内最大的自然村石便[3]。
经济[edit]
丘陵地带的山地栽速生桉和沙糖桔，水田里是水稻与花生，塘里养四大家鱼，塘基上喂瘦肉型猪[1]。
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」[1]。
