光明村是广东省肇庆市怀集县梁村镇辖下的行政村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

怀集县人民政府在1998年11月批复同意（怀发〔1998〕20号），设立光明村民委员会，以驻地村为名。[3]

民国时期这里属大园乡；1950年与永攸合为梁村乡，其后拆作上大园、下大园，又分称明星、光明两社，1958年并为一个高级社，即光明大队。1983年称光明乡，之后依次为村委会（1987年1月）、管理区（1989年7月），1998年起为村民委员会。[2]

人口与经济[edit]

位于镇域南部，距梁村圩镇约0.5公里；全村10个村民小组，774户、3863人（村情资料，未标年份）；水田1250亩，旱地104亩，村民种水稻，也编织竹器、从事建筑和外出务工；西园组被肇庆市评为「市生态示范村」。村党支部2007年被肇庆市评为先进基层党组织，2009年该村被怀集县定为「党风廉政建设示范村」。梁村镇人民政府驻在本村的光明大道。[4]

荣誉[edit]

  • 2020年11月，被授予「第六届全国文明村镇」称号。[1]
  • 2023年4月公布的2022年广东省乡村治理示范村创建名单中，该村在列。[1]
  • 2026年1月，获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
