富扬村是怀集县怀城街道下辖的行政村，位于街道北部，北接连麦镇，距县城8公里，辖25个村民小组。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

名称与建制先后为富扬高级社（1955年）、富扬大队（1958年）、富扬乡（1983年11月）、富扬村委会（1987年）、富扬管理区（1990年4月）、富扬村民委员会（1998年）。[2]

地名由来[edit]

因村委会设在富扬村，故以为名。[1]

经济[edit]

村情材料称有672户、3583人，耕地2409亩（水田2016亩），山地26907亩；山上出产杉、松、厘竹、茶叶、山药等，农田种有烟叶。据2009年统计，全村社会总产值4395万元，人均收入5641元。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年9月，富扬村在第二批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单中以西瓜入选；2019年9月，列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
