地名由来[edit]

村民取「六六大顺」的好意头，「琶」字则是依据当地地形而定，合称六琶。[1]

沿革[edit]

土地改革时期与北洒同设六琶乡，1958年公社化时北洒分出，成立六琶大队；1987年称村民委员会，1989年称管理区办事处，1999年起称六琶村民委员会。[1]

经济与荣誉[edit]

全村分27个村民小组，在册685户，总面积7平方公里（该站未注明年份）。种水稻，发展速生桉、淮山和莲藕。[1]

2021年9月，六琶村入选第二批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村，产品为砂糖桔；同年12月获「2021年广东省卫生村」称号；2019年9月列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
