文垌村是广东省茂名市信宜市北界镇西北部的行政村，村名由「银垌」谐音而来。[1]
地名由来[edit]
相传几千年前有位神仙挑着金银走出金垌，进入此地，把金袋留在了金垌，银袋放在这里，所以这里叫银垌，后来谐音写作文垌。[1]
沿革[edit]
1952年时是北界生产大队辖下的文垌合作社，1976年划出；1983年起设乡级政府，1987年起改设村民委员会，延续至今。[1]
经济与荣誉[edit]
全村分31个村民小组，在册742户，总面积4.6平方公里（该站未注明年份）。种水稻，发展养猪和林业。[1]
2023年5月，文垌村获「2022年广东省卫生村」称号；2019年9月列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
