胜积村隶属于信宜市金垌镇，在广东省茂名市境内，是镇辖的一个村民委员会[1]。
地名由来[edit]
传说约1580年前后，此地有几十户陈姓人家，在金垌势力很大、横行乡里，后来被群众合力战胜，为纪念此事取名胜迹，其后改为胜积[2]。
历史沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网，该村的名称与建制依次为：民国时期：特亮围第六村、田心社（1953年）、与金垌合称金垌大队（1956年）、分开，成立胜积大队（1962年）、胜积乡政府（1983年）、村民委员会（1987年）、管理区办事处（1989年）、复称村民委员会（1999年）[1]。

- 2023年5月，广东省爱卫会授予「2022年广东省卫生村」称号[1]
