地名由来[edit]

传说很久以前，一位姓陆的盲人来此定居，勤劳垦田，将此地叫作陆盲，后来迁来的人嫌名不雅，改为六明[2]。

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，该村的名称与建制依次为：民国时期：六蒙村、鹿鸣社（1953年）、六明大队（1962年）、乡政府（1987年）、村民委员会（1989年）、管理区办事处（1991年）、复称村民委员会（1999年）[1]。

荣誉[edit]

  • 2023年5月，广东省爱卫会授予「2022年广东省卫生村」称号[1]
