地名由来[edit]

传说古时村里有个极富的地主，穿戴无一不贵重，村民惊叹此地「上贵」，村名即由此取[2]。

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，该村的名称与建制依次为：民国时期：特亮围十四村、上柜社（1953年）、上贵大队（1962年）、设乡政府（1983年）、村民委员会（1987年）、管理区办事处（1989年）、复称村民委员会，沿用至今（1999年）[1]。
