地名由来[edit]
相传古时有人在这里淘得黄金，村名由此而来[2]。
历史沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网，该村的名称与建制依次为：民国时期：德良上乡的第五村、金垌社（1953年）、金垌大队（1962年）、金垌乡政府（1983年）、金垌村委员会（1987年）、金垌管理区办事处（1989年）、金垌村民委员会，沿用至今（1999年）[1]。
