大仁村属广东省茂名市信宜市怀乡镇，位于镇域东南部，是镇下辖的24个行政村之一。[1]据博雅地名网所载，村内设31个村民小组，登记1117户、共5317人，村域面积10.7平方千米，耕地约1985亩。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

传说古时此地出过一位朝廷大官，村民见了他都称「大人」，村名起作大人，后来谐音写成大仁。[2]

民国年间隶怀乡卫；1953年立大仁乡；1958年改编为大仁大队。此后乡政府、管理区办事处等名称几度更替，1999年起定称大仁村民委员会。[1]

  • 2023年5月，经广东省爱卫会评定为「2022年广东省卫生村」。[1]
  • 大仁村列入国家林业和草原局2019年12月公布的第二批国家森林乡村。[1]

经济[edit]

村里种植水稻、玉米、木薯，副业和特色产业有竹器编织、塘鱼、三黄鸡；据博雅地名网，上一年全村经济总收入约2374万元（年份未注明）。[1]
