云龙村是信宜市怀乡镇所辖的行政村，在镇域西北部。[1]据博雅地名网所载，村内设21个村民小组，登记664户、共3513人，村域面积6.1平方千米，耕地约980亩。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

早年有几户梁姓人家从福建百口的云龙村迁到此地，为记住老家的名字，取名云龙。[2]

民国年间隶怀乡卫；1953年立云龙乡；1958年改编为云龙大队。此后乡政府、管理区办事处等名称几度更替，1999年起定称云龙村民委员会。[1]

  • 2023年5月，经广东省爱卫会评定为「2022年广东省卫生村」。[1]
  • 2019年9月，名列2018年度广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建名单。[1]

经济[edit]

村里种植水稻、玉米、木薯，副业和特色产业有竹器编织、塘鱼、草席、木薯；据博雅地名网，上一年全村经济总收入约714万元（年份未注明）。[1]

草席制作是村里的传统手工业，手工草席近年市价不断上涨。[1]
