金盈村是信宜市怀乡镇所辖的行政村，在镇域西部。[1]据博雅地名网所载，村内设9个村民小组，登记505户、共2400人，村域面积2.3平方千米，耕地约670亩。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

旧名怀乡围，后来因地处金冠塘与盈头坳之间，各取一字，改称金盈。[2]

民国年间隶怀乡二运乡；1953年立金盈乡；1958年改编为金盈大队。此后乡政府、管理区办事处等名称几度更替，1999年起定称金盈村民委员会。[1]

  • 2021年12月，经广东省爱卫会评定为「2021年广东省卫生村」。[1]
  • 2021年9月，广东省农业农村厅公布的第二批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单，金盈村以砂糖桔入选。[1]

经济[edit]

村里种植水稻、玉米、木薯、番薯，副业和特色产业有竹器编织、龙眼；据博雅地名网，上一年全村经济总收入约536万元（年份未注明）。[1]
