德胜村属广东省茂名市信宜市怀乡镇，位于镇域西北部，是镇下辖的24个行政村之一。[1]据博雅地名网所载，村内设32个村民小组，登记713户、共3421人，村域面积2.8平方千米，耕地约838.5亩。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

传说古时有位将军在这一带作战，屡战屡胜，村民为纪念他而取名德胜。[2]

民国年间隶怀乡二运乡，为其中的第十堡，1953年与第九堡（今扶德一带）并为德胜乡，1958年拆成德胜、扶德、胜云三个生产大队，1963年德胜与胜云重新合并，仍称德胜大队。此后乡政府、管理区办事处等名称几度更替，1999年起定称德胜村民委员会。[1]

经济[edit]

村里种植水稻、玉米、木薯，副业和特色产业有竹器编织、塘鱼、三黄鸡、龙眼；据博雅地名网，上一年全村经济总收入约1058万元（年份未注明）。[1]
