大坡山社区位于信宜市区东面，属玉都街道，2005年由村改为社区[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

该地在1958年归竹山公社，设大坡山大队。1983年立为乡政府，1987年划到东镇镇之下，成了村委会，两年后叫管理区，1999年又改回委会。2005年3月21日改制为社区居民委员会，隶东镇街道，2021年5月转入玉都街道[1]。

经济与荣誉[edit]

博雅地名网载，社区下设25个村民小组，在册850户、3780人（未注明年份），总面积4平方公里，耕地588亩，作物以蔬菜、水果为主，村民还养鱼养鸡，所记上一年经济总收入5398万元[1]。2019年9月，社区入选「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单；2023年5月，被广东省爱卫会授予「2022年广东省卫生村」称号[1]。
