大坡山村属广东省高州市大井镇，是镇下辖的行政村，村名来自一片两千多亩的大坡地。[1]
地名由来[edit]
村处在2000多亩的一片大坡地上，坡内有一座小山，故名大坡山。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
该大队1958年是东风公社的“英雄团”。1961年公社体制下放，当年分出大坡山、长老山、塘尾、旺罗四个大队，到1963年初前三者并为一队，仍叫大坡山大队。1983年建乡，1986年改称农村管理区，1999年起设村民委员会。[1]
