地名由来与沿革[edit]
此地从前有一个六同村，村委会设在这里，因而得名[1]。1960年至1962年下放体制期间，六同曾与吉堆坡同属一个大队，后分出[1]。1983年称六同乡，1986年起为农村管理区，1999年起为六同村民委员会，沿用至今[1]。
经济[edit]
总面积约5平方千米，耕地约340亩，种荔枝、龙眼、香蕉；据百度百科，村子过去经济落后，被称为「六穷村」，后经帮扶脱贫，农村经济总收入为331万元（年份未注明）[2]。
荣誉[edit]
2019年10月列入广东省2019年度卫生村名单；2026年3月，被认定为「广东省第三批百千万工程典型村镇」之一[1]。
