地名由来[edit]
这里从前是长满姑稔树的山坡，叫姑稔坡；因「姑」与「孤」同音，嫌不吉利，一度改称「高稔坡」，新中国成立后依村民的心愿改为「吉堆坡」，取吉利成堆之意[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
1960年至1962年下放体制期间，分为吉堆坡、六同两个大队[1]。
经济[edit]
耕地约958亩。传统上种荔枝、龙眼、香蕉；据百度百科，近年红肉蜜柚种植面积达3500余亩，成为镇里的核心产业，村里还新建了鉴江大桥[2]。
荣誉[edit]
2021年12月，获广东省爱卫会授予「2021年广东省卫生村」称号[1]。
