大井村属广东省高州市大井镇，城乡分类属镇乡结合区，大井镇的镇名即取自本村的古井。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村中古时有一口宽约15米的大水井，村以此得名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年成立大井大队，属南塘公社；1961年下放体制后，属从南塘公社分出的大井公社。1983年建乡，1986年改称农村管理区，1999年起设村民委员会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

大井村在2019年10月公布的「2019年广东省卫生村」名录中。[1]
