谢村社区是广东省茂名市高州市潘州街道下辖的社区，位于高州老城区，城乡分类为主城区[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

谢村原是乡一级的建制。据维基百科，1956年3月调整区划时，附城镇下辖西岸乡和谢村乡，其中谢村乡即今潘州街道的谢村社区[2]。1958年公社化时，谢村属超美公社谢鸡区；1959年分设公社后属谢鸡公社环城区；1962年体制下放，改属环城公社，称谢村大队；1999年易名谢村村委会；2004年以后实行村改居，成立谢村社区居委会，延续至今[1]。
