历史沿革[edit]
社区名依当地居民的美好寓意而取。1996年5月，高州市政府发文，在中山街道下设立升平社区居委会，到2003年9月中山、南湖两街道撤销、设立潘州街道后，该居委会改属潘州街道，沿用至今[1][2]。
