光明社区是广东省茂名市高州市潘州街道下辖的社区，位于高州老城区，城乡分类为主城区[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

社区得名于光明路，路名则来自当地原有的光明印刷厂。1949年以前这一带叫镇头岭村，1999年改设光明社区居委会，名称沿用至今[1]。
