上坡村属高州市金山街道，是街道辖下的一个行政村。据地名资料，村民住在一处小坡上，因此叫上坡。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

该村1963年从文龙大队划出，立为米塘大队。1983年起设上坡乡，三年后的1986年改称上坡农村管理区，至1999年定名上坡村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]

荣誉[edit]

  • 2026年3月，认定为广东省第三批「百千万工程」典型村镇。[1]
