板桥村属高州市金山街道，是街道辖下的一个行政村。据地名资料，早年村前架有一座木板桥，因而得名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
起初隶陈垌大队；1963年陈垌分出板桥与长山两个大队，当年二者并为板桥大队。1983年起设板桥乡，三年后的1986年改称板桥农村管理区，至1999年定名板桥村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]
