马路村是吴川市覃巴镇的一个村委会，在吴川市区东北约4公里处，辖8条自然村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

马路原属龙田大队。概况页称1975年组建马路大队、1984年成为马路村委会；区划沿革页则记为1982年再并入龙田大队、1983年属龙田乡委会，至1987年才分出设马路村委会。两处说法不一。[2]

人口与经济[edit]

全村3367人，1880亩耕地上种稻谷、花生和豆类，100多户从事渔业养殖，部分村民外出从事建筑业。[1]梅兰公路纵贯全境，村委办公楼设在公路口旁，辖区内有容盛小学和排灌站。[1]8条自然村中，1条被评为湛江文明村，6条被评为吴川市文明村；其中的大埇村建有文化楼、球场和文化小公园，被评为湛江市生态文明村。[1]

荣誉[edit]

马路村名列「湛江市2020年度全市文明村」（2021年1月公布），也在2019年9月被列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」。[2]
