地名由来[edit]

村委会原驻三端村（今分为三东村和三西村），因此得名。[1]

人口经济[edit]

面积3.7平方公里，总人口3861人，辖达上、薛坉、三东、三西、官哥坉等村。以水稻、蔬菜、香蕉为主，兼营畜牧、渔业；近年投入270万元修公路、文化室和水利设施，创建湛江市生态文明村3条、吴川市文明村1条。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

三端早年属水洒（1952年至1958年），1961年另立大队，隶芷寮公社；1983年改乡政府，1987年称管理区，1999年改村委会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月被列为「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」；2026年1月获评「广东省第二批百千万工程典型村」。[1]
