人口经济[edit]
面积2.65平方公里，人口4233人，7条自然村为水洒、马宵、那仅、新垌、何屋、江口、镬盖屯。种植水稻、蔬菜、香蕉，兼营畜牧和渔业；近年投入560万元修路建水利，创建了湛江市生态文明示范村和吴川市文明村各1条。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
水洒1952年设行政村，1964年独立成大队；1978年一度拆为水洒、何屋、那仅、马宵四队，1982年复并。1983年改乡，1987年称管理区，1999年为村委会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，水洒村被列为「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」。[1]
