人口经济[edit]
共约500户、2000多人，以高位池养虾、低位池养蟹为主，养殖面积约2000亩，特色水产有鱼、虾、沙螺、青蟹等；有水泥大道通往国道325线，并设有码头。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
沙角旋1957年立大队，1984年改乡，1986年称管区，1999年为村委会。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
村外寮东村对面的海域，1982年文物普查时发现一艘沉船，渔民曾在船上取得铜柱、铜钉等物，经专家鉴定为唐代沉船，至今未打捞。[2]
