历史沿革[edit]
1949年至1957年为低垌乡，其后是低垌大队（1958年起），1983年改设低垌乡政府，1986年起成为低垌村民委员会。[1]
经济[edit]
全村11个自然村，6613人（1521户），耕地面积1887.2亩。出产水稻、花生、蔬菜、咸瓜、咸菜、香蕉，村情材料把咸瓜、咸菜和香蕉列为特产；不少村民做废品回收和建筑。[1][2]
辖区设完全小学3所，学生1200多人，有教学楼4幢，面积5400平方米。[1][2]
