水口渡村是吴川市振文镇的行政村，在吴川市区西面，隔鉴江与市区相望，梅塘公路穿村而过。^[1]

历史沿革[edit]

水口渡早先隶三江：1950年为三江行政村的一部分，后随三江成大队、小公社；1972年分出，设水口大队，归振文公社。1983年设乡委会，1987年改村委会，1992年称管理区，1998年成立水口渡村民委员会。^[1]

全村10个自然村，6339人（1077户），耕地只有405亩。改革开放以来，村里陆续开办了橡胶再生、旧轮胎加工和竹木器加工等工厂，合计20家。^[1]

据镇的概况，水口渡是全镇乡镇企业集中的地方，家家户户做废胶加工。辖区有完全小学1所，在校学生600多人。^[1]^[2]
