石岗村在东成镇西南郊，距镇中心圩镇约10公里，下设13个自然村，2004年由原石岗、草坑两个村委会合并而成。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

石岗乡成立于1949年，1958年变为大队，1979年其中一部分分出，另设草坑大队。八十年代的建制变化与邻村相同（乡、村民委员会、管理区），1998年10月恢复村民委员会之名。2004年7月，石岗与草坑两个村委会合并，合并后沿用石岗村民委员会的名称。[1]

人口与经济[edit]

村里的介绍称，全村481户、1553人，村辖总面积1580亩，耕地1385亩。[1]村民种植食用剑花100多亩、柑橘橙300多亩，农业由种粮转向特色作物。[1]集体经济总收入在2008年度为2.7万元，人均纯收入2850元。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2024年3月石岗村被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」；2023年5月，广东省爱卫会授予村内佩仔石村「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
