历史沿革[edit]
下绵湖乡成立于1949年。其后依次改为大队（1958年）、乡（1984年）、村民委员会（1986年）和管理区（1989年）；到1998年10月，经恩平市人民政府批准，重新定名村民委员会，延续至今。[1]
地理与经济[edit]
村辖总面积5548亩，耕地1352亩，总人口1504人，428户。[1]东部有成片甘蔗地，南面鱼塘超过200亩，西北有锦江环绕，河岸蕴藏页岩砂石；村中部是江门市常规优质稻种繁育基地，也是市里的重点农田灌溉区。[1]村里的介绍给出的年度集体经济收入为86264元，人均纯收入2890元（年份未注明）。[1]
