朗底圩社区在大田镇西北部，是镇内的两个社区之一，以朗底圩为中心。[1] 2001年之前，朗底曾自成一镇，后并入大田镇。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

朗底的名称与地形有关：河水自西北流向东，两岸冲积出一片低洼的平地，当地人习称「朗底」。明成化年间，恩平、阳春、新兴三地交界处的村民在每月公历逢三、逢八之日到此以山货为主赶圩，圩市渐盛。[1]

朗底圩的居民，在1993年以前归朗底供销社管理，次年成立居委会；恩平市人民政府于1998年10月批准定名为朗底圩社区居民委员会。[1] 2019年9月，该社区列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

圩旁立有朗底革命烈士纪念碑，建于1978年，纪念抗日战争以来在这一带转战的广东人民抗日解放军、粤中纵队等部队。[3] 广东人民抗日解放军司令部旧址所在的励英学校也在朗底，该校建于1929年。[3][4]
